Growth is happening around the peaceful setting of Providence Golf Club Community, just southwest of Orlando in Davenport, Florida. A Super Publix prototype store, new Polk County high school, additional Orlando Health facilities, and increased retail and dining are planned for the area.
Providence, Fla (March 29, 2019) — The convenient yet peaceful location of Providence Golf Club Community is perfectly situated for upcoming developments in the region southwest of Orlando. A special new Publix, additional high school, Orlando Health facilities, and more retail shopping and dining establishments will benefit existing and future Providence residents and visitors in a variety of ways. According to U.S. Census records, East Polk County is one of the fastest growing areas in Central Florida.
Providence is especially pleased about the $23M Super Publix-anchored retail center under construction just minutes away from the community at the NW corner of U.S. Highway 17-92 and the Poinciana Parkway. This extra large 48,000 square foot Publix supermarket with pharmacy is estimated to open sometime in mid 2019. Officially known as Loughman Crossing, the retail center will serve property owners from the upwards of 5,000 total homes slated to be built in Providence Golf Club Community.
In other exciting news, a brand new Polk County senior high school for Providence residents is slated to break ground on 60 acres next to the Davenport School of the Arts. Scheduled to open in August 2021 and designed for a capacity of 2,500 students, the new school will offer new technology and extensive academic and extracurricular programs for Providence families. Students at the Davenport School of the Arts will have a smooth transition to the new high school.
The Reunion Village development is happening close to the east side of I-4, along Osceola Polk Line Road in Davenport. It will reportedly include three upscale dining locations and a 200,000 square foot retail lifestyle center. The most recent announcement included 25 acres of space allotted for a new Orlando Health medical campus. “We are still developing specific plans for use of this property, but we know our presence at this gateway location will provide a new opportunity for Orlando Health to serve the community,” said Matt Taylor, Vice President of Asset Strategy for Orlando Health. There are also two new free-standing emergency departments slated for the Four Corners area, where Osceola, Lake, Orange and Polk counties meet near Providence.
Providence Golf Club Community continues to thrive, offering models from nationally recognized builders including luxury homes by ABD Development Company, the developer of Providence. ABD offers move-in ready homes at all stages of construction in Heritage Green and Sherbrook Springs, which are golf course and water view neighborhoods within the gates of the Providence community. Low home ownership costs and the perfect location near the biggest amusement parks of Orlando including Disney, SeaWorld, and LegoLand have attracted home buyers and the smartest investors for over a decade.
