Providence Golf Club is First in Central Florida to Feature “Sink the Shot” Gaming Technology for Golfers
Providence Golf Club, just southwest of Orlando in Davenport, Florida, is partnering with Sink the Shot, LLC to provide an innovative hole-in-one competition for players to enjoy on and off the golf course.
Providence Golf Club Community has another new accolade to add to its highly rated golf course just southwest of Orlando, Florida. Located only 10 minutes from Disney in Davenport, Providence Golf Club is a premier golf destination that welcomes the public to enjoy its scenic landscape featuring freshwater creeks, ancient hardwood, and wetlands. This 18-hole Michael Dasher-designed championship course has announced it will also feature state of the art hole-in-one gaming technology by Sink the Shot, LLC for enhanced enjoyment of play.
Players may select to enter the contest via a QR code on an entry board located on a designated par three tee box.
“We are already known to have the best greens in Central Florida, proven to test your game and soothe your senses at the same time,” says Travis Chivers, General Manager of Providence Golf Club. “Our visitors and residents know it is not unusual to catch a glimpse of incredible wildlife throughout a round including some of the largest gators and the occasional bear. We decided to add this new attraction of Sink the Shot game play on the course to enhance our players’ experience and make it even more fun as you have the option to engage in a competitive par three shot that will be broadcast live in Blue Heron Tavern.”
The rules of Sink the Shot are simple and it only takes 30 seconds to register to win:
1. Scan the QR code on the sign at the tee box of the contest hole to select the entry amount and pay in seconds using a credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Venmo.
2. Try to Sink the Shot while your attempt is live streamed back at the Club.
3. Report your Hole-In-One and get paid. Play on the hole will be verified with two solar powered cameras placed near the tee box and green out of play.
Providence will be the first golf club in Central Florida to feature Sink the Shot and plans to live stream the results of game play in Blue Heron Tavern.
